Mars von Mumen is a stunning 16 month old black and red German Shepherd.
This big boy with the handsomest black saddle is still quite young and eager
to experience all that awaits him. He's very responsive on the leash and
to corrections, walks confidently and can keep up with you for miles.
While Mars enjoys his long walks, what he really loves is to play. It
doesn't matter with what. Balls, squeakers, stuffies, he wants them all.
In fact, with his high sprits and focus, his play drive could be channeled
into any number of activities -- like nose work or advanced obedience
classes. Among other dogs, Mars does best with those who respect his
confidence as he has no problem warning those who try to push him around. At
the same time, more serious types can be a bit overwhelmed by Mar's near
constant action. Mars is looking for a home that will take advantage of the
free group training class that comes with his adoption and then some. This
young boy is determined to have fun but also to learn lots of new things
along the way.
